DRAKE DANGER IVERSEN

so here is a picture of our son Drake Danger Iversen! it is not very good because it is photocopied, but he is covering his eye and laying down. he is already looking like his dad :) I am now 20 weeks and 2 days and am excited that the first half is over.
but i know that there is so much more to come and this first little hiccup is nothing compared to my trials ahead. I hope i can handle them and learn from every situation.











this is a close up of him and once again he is relaxing with his hand behind his head and he is healthy as can be.
this is his face and it is kind of a creepy picture in my opinion, it looks just like a skull on halloween (no wonder it is a halloween baby) :) but he is still cute anyway.


and here is proof that we have a little boy on the way! (my kid might hate me for this in the future lol) the arrow is pointing to his manhood.

big sis going to the big apple

So my big sis is headed to new york city to by a live-in nanny. I am so excited for her and hope that everything becomes what she hopes it to be. She has always gone after what she wants and got it. You are going to do great and i hope you keep me updated on what has been going on while your there. I love you and have a safe trip!!

my little bump

well I told you guys I would take pictures when I start showing, well its not much and it might just look like im getting fat. well....I am getting fatter but thats good but not enough that the bump isn't a child. (I hope that sentence made sense) and since I am already showing you KNOW I am going to get HUGE!! well here ya go moms!

my birthday

yup yup, it was my twentith birthday and i celebrated it like a five year old!! well kinda, i woke up and decided i want to go to breakfast, so me chan and sky went to ihop and decided to tell the waitress that it was my birthday......thank god she had sympathy and didn't sing to me. unfortunately we forgot the camera all day :(

so these pictures were actually taken the next day...sad but true, i faked my birthday a little into the next day! luckily skylar was up for a FEW pictures (its hard to get him to smile in a picture). but anyways back to the story, then we went to the pet store and were really just going to look around, but we found such a good deal that we couldn't pass it up, and since it was my birthday i insisted that we get it.......a 125 gallon fish tank!!! i love it i love it i love it!



then our day ended up involved around the fish tank, we went and bought some rocks and then filled it. i dont really know where my whole day went now that i think about it, that isn't that much stuff, yet it was pretty late when we were done......hmmm. but anyways channing decided we should all get hats, her and sky got police man hats and were my bodygaurds on my birthday.overall it was a great birthday indeed!


unforunatley channing wasnt in any of the pictures, but i love her and she will always be in my memory (wow that sounds cheesy)

expecting

so as most of you know, as of yesterday, i am with child. i am so excited and so scared at the same time. just scared that i will not provide the proper care and so on and so forth, but i know i have all my family behind me. there to help whenever needed and i am so thankful for that. we have decided names long before i was even pregnant.....if a boy drake danger iversen (i know most of you dont agree with the danger part, but its our child :P) and if it is a girl it will be trinity nichole iversen. yes this is after my lovely sister nicki, i look up to her in so many ways and thought i would show it through this avenue. dont worry crystal im thinking the next one will somehow involve you. Thank you everyone for being excited for us, it makes it so much easier when everyone is excited with it. thank you kathy for sending a surprise gift already, thank you erica and kevin for being happy and saying you'll be the best grandparents (im sorry you feel so old, but like i said, you were before this happened), thank you mom for jumping up down and yelling and just being purely happy, and thank you dad for not passing out jk, but thank you for the offer of the clothes, if it is a girl we will definately take you up on the offer....a boy might look a little ridiculous! crystal and charles, sorry you dont know yet....hopefully i get a hold of you before you read this. Thank you nicki for keeping it a secret as long as you did i know it was hard, because it was hard for me too. well make sure you keep checking the blog, i'll update it whenever something new comes. love you all and thank you agian.

ocean time again

ocean time

so this is the beach that we go to (when we go, which is not as often as i wish) but it is pretty nice. This is when me and channing went while the boys were at work and it was still pretty cold so we didnt want to even try to get in the water. instead we went to the resteraunt at the end of the pier...... future refrence you shouldnt eat there if you go to oceanside beach, go to the mcdonalds on the sand....ya a little ridiculous but true, there is a mcdonalds on the sand a little to the left of the picture. (wow what the united states holds for us)



so though there is a sign clearly posted on this beautiful garbage can........some people just dont heed the warning! this guy looks like he can bite pretty hard, so i didn't think that anyone would try to either. well i was wrong, i came out of the restaraunt and lo and behold some one is inching there way closer to this guy, so me and channing stopped to watch, because it would be interesting to see how far he got. well he got pretty close and the bird (dont know exactly what kind) reached around with its beak and snapped at the guy, i dont know if he got him, but he did jump back. i dont know i thought i would share the story with you.

valentines day

it must of been valentines day, because love was in the air all around. we caught some of it on camera but must was only caught by our eye. haha valentines day is the day to enjoy all the reasons you love your partner and do all the mushy lovey dovey stuff that you want.....so why should animals be any different.







so this is what we did at the.........zoo! it was fun and i had a blast! there were A LOT of animals to see and A LOT of walking to do. its ok though, cause its nice to get out.....only it was pretty cold, nothing compared to utah but still chilly. skylar as always is a goof ball and added a little bit of himself to his photos! i hope that everyone else had a good valentines day and enjoyed themselves! hope to hear from all of you soon.

finally got with the program

hey everyone, i thought that since i was clear over here in california, that i would start a blog too! well me and skylar have had our share of bad luck in the past year but we are still doing great and are still happy and healthy. skylar works all day, and as most of you know i don't. i also dont have a car, so i mostly have to become creative with my day and a blog might do some of the job. but skylar and i also have great friends and roommates that have helped us in more ways than i thought we would ever need. so though all of us are from our families, were ok because we are a family of our own. "the foursome" as we like to call it.

brandon and channing are great friends and great roommates, we do pretty much everything together......let me rephrase that, we do EVERYTHING together. Their fun to be around and i dont know what i would do without them!
We have a pretty full apartment, but i wouldn't have it any other way, with our three dogs, three turtles and our guinea pig. all the animals make me feel not so alone when everyone is gone.
